What should we wear for our session?
The choice is yours, there are no rules. I suggest browsing the galleries to get ideas. My only suggestion is to avoid wearing outfits featuring the same color for all members of the family. If you are having a family session, have fun coordinating and playing with different patterns and colors. Newborns often photograph best in diapers or wrapped in blankets. For maternity sessions, it is a good idea to have several outfits ready: black pants, blue jeans, skirts, long dresses, tank tops, shirts, etc.
Do you offer home studio sessions?
As of 2021, I no longer offer home studio sessions with studio equipment. I am a natural light photographer only. If your home has plenty of natural light or a large window, we can certainly have an indoor home session using the available natural light.
Do you request a minimum order?
No, I don't. I want my pricing structure to accommodate every budget. Some people come to me and purchase the entire set of digital images plus print products. Some others, like high school seniors only need 1 digital image for the yearbook.
What happens if my child is fussy during the session?
Most children forget about the camera after a few minutes and they get to relax and be themselves. In the event that your child is fussy and doesn't cooperate throughout your session, I can offer to redo your session at no additional cost at a more convenient time.
Do you limit the number of people to be photographed in a session?
Everyone in the family is welcome to pose during my sessions, including your family pet. I just limit the amount of time of my outdoor regular session to 45 minutes. However I limit mini-sessions to 4 people.
When is the best time to have a newborn session?
There's no ideal time. Whenever you and your baby feel ready. This session can be outdoors or at your home.
When is the best time to have a maternity session?
There's no ideal time. Whenever you feel ready. This session can be outdoors or at your home.
Do you cover events?
Every year I cover a limited number of events, like small weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, bar/bat mitzvah, baptisms, etc. Please email me for details.
Are the digital images available for purchase?
Individual images are $25 each. I also offer combos, please check out my Pricing Page. You get all the printing rights. The images have no logos on them.
Do you do photo retouching?
Every image is individually color balanced and minor blemishes are removed.
Do you offer packages?
Yes, please go to the Pricing Page of my website.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, I do. They start at $100. These are very popular as baby shower and holiday gifts.
What type of paper do you print photographs on?
All photos are printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Professional Paper Super Type PD (Semi-Matte Finish). The standard archival value is 100 years in home display and 200 years in dark storage.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, personal checks and PayPal.
What is vintage photography?
Vintage sessions are great for children and adults. Simply dress in a classic, timeless outfit and choose a favorite location. I have several locations I can recommend in the Boston Metrowest area. The results are beautiful images with a classic look. They can be black & white, color or a combination of both. All vintage sessions are custom made; please email me for details.
